SPAM Scum

Time for my first rant.

I have just received several hundred returned emails which claim to have been sent from somebody [at] lunacyboard [dot] com. These are the ones that didn't get through, so who knows how many people DID receive something. To those people who did receive an email in their in-box, "Sorry".

Sorry that the email system is so flawed that any 12-year-old pluke-ridden Norman-no-mates twerp can letterbomb hundreds or thousands of people and blame it on somebody else. Believe me - with the single mail you've received you're nowhere near as pissed off as I am with the mountain I've had to work through. And I do because in amongst all the crud are some actual emails. From real people, not sent by some juvenile money-grabbing turd. What is most annoying is that firstly it will probably happen again and secondly it will probably end up getting our site banned from certain places.

Let's get this straight. There are two of us here. We're here to share our music. We're not trying to sell viagra, information or anything else. It's not in our interests to annoy anyone (other than the targets of certain of our songs).

I don't know that there's much I can do to stop this happening again, but if I can I will.
